As most people will enjoy an extra Public Holiday during this years festive season, the Cambridge Harriers 7.5 mile cross country race will take place on Monday 28th December. Held over the popular, undulating and wooded course near Bexley, all runners are welcome. Although there will be muddy sections, most of the woodland trails are quite stony, so trail shoes may be better than spikes.Entry is available on the day only for only £7 (members of Cambridge Harriers £5) from the Clubhouse, next to 60A Glenhurst Avenue in Bexley, DA5 3QN. Contactless payment preferred for entries (cash only at the woods). Race starts at 1200 noon in Joydens Wood, about a 1.5 mile from the clubhouse, so please allow time to jog or walk to the woods (there will be someone to show you the route). Please be aware that there is no parking close to the start.
Facilities at the clubhouse include parking, changing rooms, showers, refreshments and licensed bar.
