About this Event
In this imaginative, intergenerational workshop, children, teens, and adults are invited to slow down, create, and explore the many dimensions of who they are. Through mixed-media mask-making, mindfulness, and guided reflection, participants will explore the parts of themselves they readily share with the world as well as the strengths, feelings, dreams, interests, and possibilities they carry within.
Using color, images, words, textures, and symbols, each participant will create a one-of-a-kind mask that reflects their unique inner and outer worlds—and discover the qualities and “light” they bring to the people and world around them.
No artistic experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to create. Participants will leave with a meaningful keepsake, greater appreciation for the many dimensions of who they are, and an opportunity to deepen empathy and connection by seeing themselves—and one another—beyond the surface.
Come on your own or create alongside family and friends. All ages are welcome.
