📍 Museum Kunst & Geschiedenis, Brussel

Researchers and specialists in Mosan metalwork, archaeology and medieval history will come together to present new discoveries and recent scientific findings. The study day will also explore the medieval connections between the Mosan region and Central Europe.
Particular attention will be paid to the Abbey of Saint-Trond (Sint-Truiden), for which these works may originally have been intended. Industrial CT scans revealed inscriptions beneath the enamel that support this possibility.
