What if a concert became a journey?
Join Journeyman on a musical journey along Spain’s legendary Camino de Santiago, where music, storytelling, and evocative video bring a path of discovery and transformation to life.
Blending pop, rock, blues, and more, Journeyman serves as storyteller, joined by a dynamic four-piece band and three outstanding vocalists. Together, they create an immersive experience that blends the energy of a live concert with the intimacy of theater and the power of personal storytelling.
Through moments of hope, struggle, reflection, and awakening, the Camino becomes more than a distant trail. It becomes a mirror for our own lives, the challenges we face, the connections we make, and the possibilities that emerge along the way.
You don’t need to have walked the Camino or follow a particular spiritual path to connect with this experience. Come for the music, the story, or simply the opportunity to pause, reflect, and see your own journey from a new perspective. Each person will take away something different.
Set in the resonant, welcoming space of First United Methodist Church in Iowa City, The Sounds of Transformation: Along the Way invites you to experience an evening that is moving, meaningful, and unlike a traditional concert.

- Intermission: Approximately 8:00 PM
- Show concludes: Approximately 9:15 PM
- Informal meet-and-greet with Journeyman, the band, and vocalists before and after the performance
- Free parking at the church and along nearby streets
