Through folk songs, classical music and dance, Calpulli Mexican Dance Company’s Día de Muertos tells a love story that spans the boundary between the living and the dead. A loving couple, Lupita and Raul, fall victim to treachery and are separated, seemingly forever. Lupita then enters Mictlán, the underworld of Aztec mythology, where the mesmerizing Catrina reigns as queen.💀 Join us beginning at 1:30 p.m. for a festive Arsht Plus experience! Celebrate the traditions and artistry of Día de Muertos with colorful ofrendas, sugar skull decorating and mariachi music. Arrive early and enjoy the celebration before the show begins!
