JOPLIN PARENTS: IT’S TIME TO SPEAK UP!Our kids deserve better, and it’s time our school board hears us.
BUS DRIVER SHORTAGE: This has been going on for at least five years. Students (k-12) are sometimes left waiting up to 45 mins/an hour for a bus, and afternoon routes can take over an hour to get kids home.
LUNCHTIME: Students have less than 25 minutes to get to lunch, eat, and get back to class. Students have reported eating on the floor.
BATHROOM ACCESS: Students are being denied bathroom breaks during class. Children should not have to sacrifice their basic needs to follow school rules.
BULLYING: Students deserve to feel safe at school. Bullying must be taken seriously, addressed consistently, and met with meaningful action.
These aren’t minor inconveniences. These issues affect our children’s safety, health, and well-being and should no longer be tolerated.
