Joon Music Norway is hosting a songwriting camp in Stavanger for international singer-songwriters and producers from Norway, Germany, France, and the USA. The camp runs from September 29 to October 4. The public can meet the artists at a performance at Blyge Harry on October 1 at 7 p.m.The participants work across genres including indie pop, folk, and country. Among them are Julie Kuhl, who has toured with Jamie Cullum in Germany and can be heard on Los Angeles radio station KCRW; Mimi Vogler, who is working on her debut album after earning millions of streams across multiple EPs; Norwegian artist Sol Eline, who has gained recognition through NRK P3’s Urørt and was named one of its up-and-coming artists; and Berlin-based Fredrik Leonard, whose songs are in regular rotation on KCRW.
Arriving from the USA are Deloyd Elze, who opened for Orville Peck at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 18, as well as singer-songwriters and producers Timothy Brown, Jordan Ruiz, Jacob Cummings, and Luke Enyeart.
Throughout the week, the musicians will write and produce new music together for TV, film, and other projects.
