From September 24 to October 17, Wunderkammern presents Through Life, the new solo exhibition by JonOne (John Andrew Perello), curated by Giuseppe Pizzuto. The artist will be present at the opening.
The exhibition brings together a selection of new works exploring the themes of experience, memory, energy, and transformation.
From his beginnings in the New York graffiti scene in the 1980s to international recognition, JonOne has developed a pictorial language in which writing, gesture, and color come together and progressively move towards abstraction. Tags, calligraphic marks, drips, and expressive gestures overlap across the canvas, creating dense and layered compositions.
The title Through Life encapsulates this research: a continuous flow of marks and layers that reflects the changing nature of human experience.
