JON PLEASED WIMMIN – LIVE IN WORCESTER
A true original of UK house music is coming to the Atique Room.
Jon Pleased Wimmin started DJing at Danny Rampling's legendary Glam night at the Milk Bar in 1991 and became a regular at London's Kinky Gerlinky and Camp. In 1993 he launched his own night, Pleased, in Soho, which grew into one of London's best-known midweek clubs. He later moved to Edinburgh, where he held residencies including the weekly Church of the High Kicks.
Through the '90s he was a regular in DJ Mag's Top 100, reaching No. 6 in 1996, and he has played everywhere from Ibiza to Buenos Aires and Japan, with recent sets at Creamfields and Cream.
Expect uplifting vocal house, '90s classics, funky house and disco re-edits.
