Please join us for this joint holiday celebration for Jazz Lovers’ and More Jazz clubs with the Savoy Show Band. This 16-piece orchestra is a wonderful group of musicians for our listening and dancing pleasure. The orchestra features musical tributes to all the famous big bands of the Swing Era and their leaders. The Savoy Show Band customizes their performance to include authentic selections from the libraries of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Artie Shaw, Harry James, and other such luminaries of the big band era.The party hours are extended to 9:00 with round tables for 8. Bring your own holiday food and beverage. We will also have a dance floor for you to stretch your legs and enjoy the music.
Tickets for the event are only $25 per person and are for sale at our events in October and November (At Laurel Manor on 10/13, 11/10 and at Colony Cottage on 10/25, 11/22). You may also obtain tickets by contacting a group admin. Villages resident IDs or valid Villages guest pass required. Doors open at 5:30pm.
