* Date: Thursday, October 15th
* Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
* Location: Before & After Brewing (East Sunshine, Springfield)
HOW TO RUN
* In Person: Put your name on the ballot at the October 15th meeting.
* Can't make it? Send an email to [email protected] by November 1st stating the position you want to run for, along with a short bio and why you wish to serve.
* Prerequisite: You must have been an active IMBA member for the last 6 months (please verify your status beforehand!).
Elections run from November 1st to December 1st.
OPEN BOARD POSITIONS
1. PRESIDENT
* Responsibilities: Presides over meetings, oversees general management and contracts, leads monthly board meetings, handles annual insurance review, plans quarterly socials, leads inter-agency trail communications, and assists with fundraising.
* Time Commitment: 15-20 hours/month during event season | 10-15 hours/month during off-season
2. VICE PRESIDENT
* Responsibilities: Assumes presidential duties in their absence, assists Committee Chairs, aids the President with overflow tasks, and attends board meetings, socials, and major club events.
* Time Commitment: 15-25 hours/month during event season | 5-10 hours/month during off-season
3. SECRETARY
* Responsibilities: Records and maintains meeting minutes, manages Organization Bylaws and policy decision files, maintains legal, insurance, and 501(c)(3) documents, and attends monthly meetings and club socials.
* Time Commitment: 5 hours/month
4. TREASURER
* Responsibilities: Receives money, pays approved bills, maintains financial records according to accepted accounting practices, acts as Finance Committee Chair, and attends monthly board meetings and club socials.
* Time Commitment: 5 hours/month
5. AT LARGE MEMBER #1 (Event Committee)
* Responsibilities: Attends all board meetings and the majority of events, serves as leader of the Event Committee.
* Time Commitment: 15-20 hours/month during event season | 5 hours/month during off-season
6. AT LARGE MEMBER #2 (Marketing Committee)
* Responsibilities: Attends all board meetings and the majority of events, serves as leader of the Marketing Committee.
* Time Commitment: Varies
7. AT LARGE MEMBER #3 (Trail Care Committee)
* Responsibilities: Attends all board meetings and the majority of events, serves as leader of the Trail Care Committee.
* Time Commitment: 5 hours/month
