**THE BEARDS ARE BACK, DAKOTA!**Last year, things got a little hairy at Dakota Middle School... and apparently, our students loved it!
So we're bringing back the **Longest Beard Challenge Fundraiser!**
**December 14–18, 2026**
Monday through Friday
Dakota Middle School
Which Dakota staff member will grow the biggest, fluffiest, most ridiculous cotton-ball beard this year?
**ALL DAKOTA STAFF ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE!**
Teachers, cafeteria staff, custodians, maintenance staff, office staff, administrators, and everyone who helps make Dakota a great place to learn!
We'll display photos of our participating staff members around the school so students can see who's competing and help their favourites grow some seriously impressive beards!
**HOW DOES IT WORK?**
For just **25¢ per cotton ball or 5 for $1**, students can help their favourite participating staff members grow their cotton-ball beards throughout the week.
Want to contribute a little extra? **Additional donations are always welcome!** Every dollar helps us make an even bigger difference.
Please bring exact change, as no change will be given.
**Reminder**
We want our students to have a voice in giving back!
Half of the money raised will be donated to a charitable cause, and students will help decide where that donation goes. Last year we donated to The Landing
Because this challenge isn't just about growing ridiculous beards. It's also about kindness, generosity, and supporting our community!
**WHAT'S AT STAKE?**
The three staff members with the biggest cotton-ball beards will each receive a **$5 Moka gift card!**
And, of course, bragging rights until next year's challenge!
So, Dakota students... who's getting the biggest beard this year?
**LET THE FLUFFY COMPETITION BEGIN!**
