About this Event

For the second time in London, join James Longshore for a lively evening of stand-up comedy and a reading from his debut novel, ‘Stage Fright', the story of an expat competing on a Romanian reality show. Mr. Longshore will read excerpts from the novel followed by a Q+A about acting in a foreign country and other topics.

James Longshore is an actor, author, stand-up comedian and accent coach from New York City who lived in Bucharest and Paris for the better part of a decade. He can be seen in UK Cinemas from October 9th, acting opposite John Malkovich in ‘The Yellow Tie'. He is the first American actor to act in Romanian on network television, in the Romanian adaptation of BBC's 'Mrs. Brown's Boys'. Other credits include ‘The World To Come’ with Vanessa Kirby, 'Dragonheart:Vengeance' with Helena Bonham Carter and the award-winning Italian film ‘Diaz’. His publishing credits include ‘Stage Fright’ and the internationally published comic book series ‘James Bong, Agent of JOINT’. Copies of Stage Fright will only be available for purchase in the UK exclusively at this event!
