John Storie Quartet — Live Preview of the New AlbumGet an early listen to John Storie's upcoming quartet album as four of Oregon's finest jazz musicians bring the new material to life on stage.
John Storie guitar
Joe Manis tenor saxophone
Ed Bennett bass
Charlie Doggett drums
Leading the group is John Storie — guitarist, vocalist, bandleader, arranger, and composer — who serves as Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of Oregon. A headliner at major international festivals and venues, Storie also performs with the acclaimed ensemble New West Guitars, bringing a wealth of touring and recording experience to this intimate quartet setting.
Joined by a stellar lineup of Oregon-based jazz talent, this is a rare chance to hear original compositions before they hit the album — performed live by the musicians who created them.
Don't miss this preview performance from one of the region's most accomplished jazz voices.
