Description:The John Damberg Latin Jazz Quintet with special guest Portuguese vocalist Jessica de Silva will present an exciting concert of Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, and Trinidadian style songs in the beautiful acoustics of the Anchorage Lutheran Church Sanctuary. This concert will feature Brazilian Sambas, Bossa Novas, Trinidadian steel drum Socas and Calypsos, and Afro-Cuban Mambos, and Cha Cha Cha’s. Joining John on this musical outing are Karl Pasch on clarinet, Mark Manners on guitar, Bob Andrews on bass, and Cameron Cartland on drums.
The concert runs from 4:30-6:00 p.m. and doors open at 4 p.m.
Admission is free and donations are gladly accepted.
