John Coltrane was a fervent spiritual light. Through his music, he transformed awareness and consciousness. His playing has altered lives. This year he would have been 100 years old. He died too soon at the age of 40. Through his music and life, we will celebrate his accomplishments and discuss contemporary issues of our day. Our evening features; Michael Malone, saxophone; Andy Langham, piano; Roscoe Beck, bass; Joshua Berry, drums. Live from the historic Cactus Cafe: 2247 Guadalupe St, in the Texas Union.
