Join us Saturday, November 21st, from 6–9 PM at NUNU Arts & Culture Collective in Arnaudville for a special evening honoring the life, music, and legacy of Louisiana Creole accordionist Joe Hall.Joe Hall was a husband, father, friend, musician, and an important part of the Louisiana Creole music community. Through his accordion and his dedication to the music, Joe helped carry the sounds and traditions of Creole music forward for future generations.
The evening will bring together Joe’s family, friends, fellow musicians, and members of the community for an evening of live Creole music, memories, and storytelling. The program will include performances by some of Joe’s closest friends in music, along with a special screening of his documentary.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go directly to Ms. Linda Hall, Joe’s widow, and in addition, help fund an intimate Creole music concert series in Arnaudville next year, in partnership with NUNU Arts & Culture Collective and Zydeco Izreal.
