JKCS FEBRUARY HALF TERM WEEKENDER
Come along and get arty with JK your local cartoonist and digital designer.
Relax in the library while enjoying JKCS activities, art, refreshments and vibes - at your own pace and leisure!
Draw, explore and color JK’s signature characters the Jadoodles or make your own!

This event is for families, we are not responsible for your children and you will have to accompany them in the library.
The aim of the event is to provide a mindfulness day for the community.
All our events/projects emphasis the therapeutic power of art – the JKCS has been running wellbeing events in the local community, schools and prestigious venues since 2021 led by local artist JK (see link here).

Bio
Jadorekid (JK) is a cartoonist, graffiti artist, digital designer, workshop facilitator and live art performer.He is the firstYoung Artist in Residence at The Cartoon Museum and a member of Serpentine Studios Youth Collective.
JK’s work uses facial expressions to place emphasis on emotions, expressions and feelings, and has resulted in the development of his own characters –The Jadoodles. These come in all shapes and sizes, showcasing expression, emotion and feeling -reminding us to make time for them all!
JK has facilitated countless workshops including at The Cartoon Museum’s relaxed Mondays and The SAATCHI gallery –exploring creativity and expression. Recently, he carried out a live art performance at the National Theatre’s River stage festival andproduced his own community mindfulness event JKCS: Arty in the Park. As well as events hosted at The Cartoon Museum includingthe JK takeover where JK premiered 3 artworks now exhibited in The Cartoon Museum and more recently JKCS presents: Night at the Museum.
