He has appeared repeatedly on The Doctor Demento Show and NPR’s All Things Considered, and recorded 12 albums. His songs are alternately hilarious and thought provoking. Never satisfied with chasing hits songs, his music surprises and inspires in unique ways.
Rob Lytle is a touring Americana songwriter and performer whose songs move between country, folk-rock and roots music, with an emphasis on complex emotional layers, melody and experiences that resonate. The first thing you’ll notice is a voice that is effortlessly powerful and immediately intimate. Rob’s voice has been compared favorably to artists such as Jackson Browne, Jonathan Edwards and James Taylor for its unique clarity and seemingly effortless ability to navigate interesting melodies. His latest album, Americana Dream, was produced by Merel Bregante at Cribworks Digital Audio in Liberty Hill, Texas, and mastered by Jerry Tubb at Terra Nova Mastering. The twelve-song collection has earned radio airplay and enthusiastic reviews in the U.S. and Europe.
