“On this EP, I stepped outside of myself a bit and into other people’s heads. There is a man who lives on the streets, who has been broken by some past experiences. There is a girl who feels small, and wonders where she fits into such a complex world. There is a Mother who is wrestling with loss, who is angry and looking for understanding from people instead of empty words. And then there is me. I am a Mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend, and many other things and I have been worrying about the state of things lately. You will hear that reflected in these songs too.
