About this Event
What do we mean by the Jewish Infrastructure of Zionism?
Across New York City—and the world—Jewish institutions are pillars of support for the State of Israel. Synagogues host real estate events where American Jews buy ethnically cleansed land in the West Bank. Hillel brings college students to volunteer on IDF bases in the midst of a genocide. The Jewish Federations raise money for social services, only to spend it on assistance for new Israeli settlers.
When did our communities direct all of our attention towards the colonization of Palestine? How will we weaken Jewish institutions’ material support for Zionism?
Join the JOPL for a discussion on the history, present, and future of Jewish institutional support for Zionism on Friday, September 18th. Follow @JOPLNYC on IG for program updates.
