The devil is an SKD expert - he came to Steal, K*ll and Destroy (John 10:10) but Jesus came, so we could access life in abundance (John 10:10).
When the first Adam sinned and fell short of the glory of God in Eden (Genesis 3:6–7; Romans 3:23), mankind lost the privilege to continue to live the life of God which had placed him above selfishness, wickedness, lack/poverty, death, limitations and frustrations, et cetera (Romans 5:12). And, it is for this purpose that the Son man manifested that He may destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
The New Life in Christ according to II Corinthians 5:17 (2 Corinthians 5:17) restores man to original plan of God which affords man to be imbued with the nature of God which is consisted in his righteousness and this life invincible, limitless and supernatural (Ephesians 4:24; 2 Peter 1:4).
Apostle John in the Book of Revelation narrated the hopeless state of man as no being in heaven was ready to volunteer to pay the ultimate price of dying on the cross - taking the dregs of God's cup of wrath and loosing the scrolls thereof (Revelation 5:2–5).
Now, the Life Gate is thrown open that all may come in.
Let him or her that is thirsty come and drink freely of the water of life (Revelation 22:17; Isaiah 55:1).
We owed the debt we could not pay (Romans 6:23). We needed someone to wash away our sins (1 Peter 2:24; Colossians 2:13–14). Now, we can sing a brand New Song (Revelation 5:9; Psalm 40:3) - Songs of Victory - Amazing grace; Jesus has paid the debt He never owed.
