Local roots-reggae troubadours, Jesse Morris and the Shakedown, team up with South Californian soul music master, Allensworth with his epic band and joined by solo surf-folk-roots artist Ally Palmer for a special event @ Federal Hall, in the Northern NSW's Bundjalung hinterland. Friday, Mar 20, 630pm-late.
ABOUT JESSE MORRIS:
Jesse Morris and the Shakedown will be dropping their first single from their forthcoming 5th studio album and celebrating that release with a local full-band show. Infamous roots, reggae legends featuring a lineup of dub-reggae-royalty.
ABOUT ALLENSWORTH:
Allensworth is a Huntington Beach, California-based soul quartet led by singer-songwriter Jamie Allensworth, blending rock, funk, and classic soul with a coastal Cali-groove. Known for energetic live shows, the group draws inspiration from artists like James Brown and Curtis Mayfield and features a sound described as both gritty and danceable.
ABOUT ALLY PALMER:
Multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Ally Palmer creates beautiful, heartfelt soulful-folk songs that reveal her enticing blend of vulnerability and strength. Her smooth harmonies and laid back style provide feel good vibes for those hot summer days spent by the ocean. Ally’s music is heavily influenced by her love of old soul music, mixed with her roots in folk.
