This Halloween, the Jersey City Independent Film Festival (JCIFF), in partnership with the Jersey City Public Library, invites you to step inside Nightmares—an immersive celebration of independent horror filmmaking, visual art, and storytelling.
Experience a curated showcase of five independent horror films featuring bold voices from across the genre, followed by conversations with the filmmakers behind the work.
Beyond the screen, explore the Nightmares Gallery, featuring original horror-inspired artwork and creative displays; discover independent creators and small businesses in the Nightmares Marketplace; participate in audience voting and interactive experiences; and connect with filmmakers, artists, creators, and fellow horror fans.
Nightmares is more than a film screening. It's a community celebration of the strange, suspenseful, imaginative, and terrifying sides of independent storytelling.
