Ready to make a difference in your community? ? We've teamed with Dancing Tony for our volunteer event: a park clean-up at the cemetery! And we want YOU to be part of this incredible experience!
? Date: Saturday, May 9
? Time: 9AM to 11PM
? Location: Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery - 435 Newark Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07302
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll be working on a variety of outdoor tasks, including:
- Removing weeds
- Picking up trash and debris
- Planting trees and garden maintenance
- Mowing and W**d-whacking
- General clean-up to help restore the grounds
We’ll be providing all the tools and equipment you need.
WHAT TO WEAR
- Long pants and closed-toe shoes (to help avoid ticks and poison ivy)
- Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Sunscreen and bug spray (apply beforehand!)
- A hat or sunglasses for sun protection
