$50/45An intimate flamenco duet with Paco Lara and Sebastián Sánchez.
From the heart of Jerez de la Frontera comes an evening of raw, passionate flamenco at Smith’s Alternative.
Acclaimed Jerez born guitarist Paco Lara joins Australian Spanish flamenco dancer Sebastián Sánchez, whose own family roots lie in Jerez, for Jerezañía, a powerful and deeply personal meeting of guitar and dance.
Stripped back to its essentials, Jerezañía brings audiences close to the rhythm, emotion and spontaneity at the heart of flamenco. Two artists, two generations and a shared connection to one of flamenco’s most important cities.
Expect intricate guitar, explosive footwork, improvisation and the unmistakable spirit of Jerez. No big production. No barriers. Just flamenco up close.
