Give your Christmas tree a handmade finishing touch! Using the popular Jelly Roll Rug technique, you’ll transform 2 1/2" fabric strips and batting into a beautiful spiral tree skirt filled with color and texture.
This two-session class is designed to give you plenty of time to work through the process without rushing.
During our first 2-hour session, we’ll focus on preparing and joining our fabric strips, batting, and making the fabric-covered tubes needed to create the tree skirt. If you don’t finish all of your tubes during class, you’ll have the rest of the week to complete them at home before we meet again.
The following Saturday, we’ll come back together for a full day of sewing! We’ll assemble our prepared tubes, shape the tree skirt, and work toward completing our projects. Feel free to bring a lunch and settle in for a full day of Christmas sewing.
