''I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.''Our final Red Label production for the year kicks off this month!
We’re bringing a brand new Dire Original adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde to The Forge with 'JEKYLL / HYDE', written by resident writer David Rienits.
This is a story most of us know in some form, but our adaptation pulls it into the modern world and asks what that old idea of the “duality of man” might look like on stage today. And we’re taking that idea a step further!
JEKYLL / HYDE is a one-person show, but that person(s) is played by two different actors across the season. Bryson Grenfell and Rachel Rienits will each take on the role on different nights, bringing their own interpretation and perspective to the character.
So while the story remains the same, you’re not necessarily seeing the same show twice!
