Experience the Vibrant Rhythms and Movements of West Africa with Jeh Kulu Dance and Drum Theater Company
Step into the rich cultural tapestry of West Africa with a dynamic rhythmic performance featuring Master Drummers from Guinea and Senegal playing djembe and doun doun drums blended with intricate dance that reflects centuries of storytelling and tradition.
Jeh Kulu means “community” in the Bambara language of Mali and that is what we hope to create with our live performances which are designed to engage audiences of all ages. All performances end with an audience participation segment where participants can learn some traditional movements.
Join us for a celebration of rhythm, movement, and the enduring spirit of West Africa!
