Join us for a Jeep meet at the Fox River Trolley Museum in South Elgin to talk Jeeps and ride nearly 100 year old trolleys on the historic Aurora Elgin & Fox River Electric line. Broncos are invited too, but pretty sure we can out number them :)
Please bring cash as this is a fundraiser for the all volunteer run museum that works hard to keep history alive and running. And running a trolley line ain’t cheap.
- $5 Entrance
- Raffles
- Car show with 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes. And some high fives for 4th place?
- Food trucks on site!
Even if you don’t like old trolleys, meet up with us to talk Jeeps, share spooky stories, and keep my wife entertained as her husband nerds out on diesel locomotives, old CTA subway cars, cabooses, and a coal car that survived the Great Chicago Tunnel Flood of ‘92.
(Or may not have. Guess we’ll have to ask when we get there)
This is a public event so feel free to share with your other Jeep groups.
