Blue Standard featuring Raoul Bhaneja and Jesse Whiteley perform a birthday celebration for the 110th Birthday of Frank Sinatra (Dec 12) and the 107th Birthday of Joe Williams (Dec 12) Two giants of jazz who were born on the same day, three years apart!
The show will features tunes made famous by both artists with even a dash of seasonal flare for the occasion, with Jesse Whiteley on piano and vocals and Raoul Bhaneja on vocals and harmonica. Since the release of their debut album “A Good Thing” (a tune originally recorded by Joe Williams), Blue Standard has performed a venues across the city and shows in Ottawa and Montreal. Long time front man of one of Toronto’s top blues band, Raoul andThe Big Time, Bhaneja is also an accomplished actor with over 140 film and television appearances and has performed at major theatres across the country. Whitelely, from the first family of Canadian roots music, is one of the busiest musicians in town, found any night of week in his capacity as singer, songwriter, keyboardist, arranger and even big band conductor! No need to bring a physical copy of the ticket for entry. Please bring your eventbrite ticket on your phone or provide the name the tickets were purchased under for check-in.
General Admisson seating is on a first come basis.
Presale tickets are available until 2PM the day of the show. Unsold tickets will be able to purchased at the door while supplies last.
