About this Event
Jazz in Color is a collaboration bringing together Blue Spirit Art Studio & Gallery, Healistry, and Hub City Jazz Collective; a student-led jazz big band and ensemble based at Converse University in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Jazz in Color invites you to experience music in a different way—not only by listening, but by creating.
Throughout the evening, Hub City Jazz Collective will perform musical selections exploring a range of moods and emotions. Participants will respond through color, line, shape, and expressive mark-making, discovering connections between music, emotion, and personal expression.
No artistic experience is necessary.
All art-making materials are provided. Just bring your curiosity and creative spirit!
