Jazz Hands Concert Series #26: A Motown Tribute

Jazz Hands For Autism presents the 26th concert in our biannual Jazz Hands Concert Series, a live tribute to the music of Motown performed by the musicians of the Jazz Hands Musicians Academy.

This year we are presenting our Fall 2026 WayMaker Award to Faith Evans, advocate and founder of Ryder's Room, Inc., which supports individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Ms. Evans will accept the award in person.

Greg Mack of 94.7 The Wave co-hosts the evening with August McAdoo, a DJ who trained at the Jazz Hands Musicians Academy. Rodney Gordy, a member of the legendary Gordy Motown family, moderates a 45-minute fireside chat with Ms. Evans for VIP ticket holders.

The evening includes a full Motown set played live by the Jazz Hands musicians and the Fall 2026 WayMaker Award presentation. VIP tickets add a pre-show reception and the fireside chat. A limited number of meet and greet spots are available.

The concert takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, in the Gramercy Ballroom at The LINE LA, 3515 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles. Doors open at 4:00 PM, the VIP reception begins at 4:15 PM, the VIP fireside chat begins at 4:30 PM, and the show begins at 5:30 PM.

Jazz Hands For Autism is a Culver City nonprofit that trains autistic musicians and helps them build paid careers in music. Our musicians have played more than 300 gigs, most of them paid, and have earned more than $54,000 from their craft. Every ticket supports year-round music instruction and paid performance opportunities for our musicians.
