They take well-known songs from the 1970s and 1980s and reshape them through bold, contemporary jazz arrangements. Familiar melodies take unexpected turns, with shifts in rhythm, feel, and structure. The result feels surprising, playful, and deeply musical.
The band has built a strong reputation through sold-out shows at leading venues including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, PizzaExpress Jazz Club, and the Royal Albert Hall, performing in the Elgar Room. Festival appearances span the UK and Europe, with highlights including EFG London Jazz Festival, Henley Festival, Pub in the Park, and international dates in France, Sweden, Italy, Norway, and Bulgaria.

The event is being held on the first floor of the Southern Maltings building. Please check with the event organisers if using stairs is problematic. Southern Maltings is the trading name of Ware Arts Centre Limited and is a registered charity (Registered charity no. 276998). All events are run by volunteers and proceeds go towards developing the Southern Maltings into an amazing creative arts centre which will enable us to put on a wider and more frequent range of events and activities for the whole community.
