Join the young Jazz Prodigy, Tristan Conolly for his return to the stage at Brass & Bone (10/17). Reserve your table now to not miss out!BIO: Tristan Connolly
At only 16 years old, Tristan Connolly has made jazz a central part of his daily life on alto sax, tenor sax and clarinet. During his Freshman and Sophomore year, Tristan held the #1 alto sax chair in the CT Western Regional & All-State Festivals. On weekends, he commutes NYC to participate in the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra & Charlie Parker Combo which has provided him the opportunity to perform at various venues within Lincoln Center, around NYC, and most recently, at the Levitt Pavilion in Westport.
Tristan was the 2026 winner of the Litchfield Jazz Camp Talent Search and was also fortunate enough to win a professional Conn Selmer alto saxophone this year through the generosity of the Gerry Mulligan Foundation based in Darien, CT. When he is not in his family garage learning from old recordings of jazz greats and practicing with friends, Tristan is attending classes at Fairfield Warde High School, playing with peers in their Jazz Band & Wind Ensemble, and more recently, performing on clarinet with his older brother Colman’s band, The Low Darts during their rendition of Billy Joel’s “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant” during three sold out shows at FTC’s Stage One. He hails from a long tradition of musicians between the Connolly, Tressler, Fitzgerald & McCann families both locally and in Ireland. Please come to Brass & Bone to support this up and coming Jazz musician!
