ABOUT ANDY SMYTHE
A singer/songwriter with a captivating sonic Signature, Andy Smythe is seeking to contribute towards a renaissance in the British songwriting with a meticulously arranged retro-sound that combines the melodic and lyrical craftsmanship of Dylan and Buckley. He writes about the plight of humanity from from the heart. Expect a roller coaster ride of human experiences from a well-lived life! Andy has been playing on the UK scene since the early 2000’s, performing at festivals and folk clubs throughout the UK. Wherever he performs audiences are quick to recognise the power and range of his Jeff Buckley-like four octave voice and the virtuosity of his guitar/piano playing. Andy is not seeking to pursue recent trends in music but explore and develop his distinctive voice, composing arrangements for his songs that continue to develop his signature sound. The most important thing for him is ‘the song’ and enhancing its message with a thoughtful and innovative presentation. With passion, perseverance and a commitment to his art, he is determined to share his work and continue to enchant and entertain. He plays either solo or with Les Elvin on bass and Jimmy Van Lin on mandolin/fiddle. He's currently booking a folk club tour in 2026 to support the release of his 8th studio album.
‘Voice, band, songs - a wonderful warm sound' Mike Scott of The Waterboys
Songs beyond the scope of most singer-songwriters’ TIME OUT
'Transcends his influences (Dylan/Buckley) - a voice with much to say' SHINDIG

ABOUT JASON MCNIFF
Jason is a troubadour who has made nine albums which people call Folk, Americana, or Alt. Country. There is an Englishness in his guitar playing however, and you might like to think of Bert Jansch or Wizz Jones meeting John Prine & Townes Van Zandt. Time Out writes, ‘McNiffs quiet, intimate, fragile-sounding vocals draw you into his world, an almost timeless place, through which he drifts, a romantic loner, a dreamer, at home with the blues.’ He is often touted as one of the UKs most overlooked musical treasures.
