Two of music’s most celebrated storytellers, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit and Nathaniel Rateliff take the stage at The BayCare Sound for an extraordinary night celebrating the best in Americana and roots rock!Jason Isbell is a six-time Grammy® Award-winning singer-songwriter widely regarded as one of the most acclaimed and influential artists of his generation. A native of North Alabama, he is celebrated for his ability to translate profound human emotions and everyday experiences into deeply resonant, poetic songs. Following a string of critically acclaimed albums, extensive international touring with the 400 Unit, and a role in the Academy Awards®-nominated film Killers of the Flower Moon, Isbell entered 2025 with a new creative focus. His solo album, Foxes in the Snow, features only Isbell, his voice, and an acoustic guitar, highlighting the raw strength of his songwriting and musicianship. Recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, the album showcases the honesty, craftsmanship, and emotional depth that have defined his celebrated career.
Nathaniel Rateliff began his musical journey in Hermann, Missouri, playing drums in his family’s church band before emerging as a solo folk artist. He later formed Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, whose 2015 breakthrough album launched them into widespread acclaim, supported by Platinum and Gold-certified releases and a reputation for electrifying live performances. The band has released four studio albums, two EPs, and a live album, while also appearing on Saturday Night Live. Their latest album, South of Here, earned Album of the Year at the 2025 Americana Honors & Awards and was supported by their first arena tour, including a sold-out Madison Square Garden performance. Beyond music, Rateliff serves as the first artist appointee to the Newport Folk Festival Stewardship Program since Pete Seeger, focusing on artist advocacy and mentorship. He was also unanimously appointed to the Farm Aid Board of Directors, where he works alongside founders Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp to support family farmers and the agricultural community.
