About this Event

Why this Forum?

Because, despite how The Row House tries to be irrelevant enough to be profound, this topic just keeps on coming up.

Just weeks ago, the news was aflutter with doomsday scenarios whistling from the lips of A.I. insiders. Something about a 10% chance of human extinction if the bots get a hankering to take over the world.

In steps Jason Baker. He's probably more comfortable than most of us with a positive scenario for how A.I. can be managed for the common good, but let's find out.

We all need to get a better handle on just what these Large Language Models and data crunching crawlers are. We also need be theologically rooted as we navigate the given world we live in.

So, why talk about this? Because maybe Christians have a way of wisdom, based on Scripture, that offers a way forward that is steward-like and not panic-driven. As we say, come find out. Color the conversation with YOUR questions, concerns, and insights.

What to Expect

A talk based on Jason’s latest book, Leading AI Well: An Executive's Guide to AI Strategy (the AI education your MBA didn't include).

Q&A on whatever tickles your fancy, of course.

Great decaf coffee, cold drinks for the weary (and wary), and some kind of desert that's real (not digital, artificial, or virtual).

Who’s This Event For?

Anyone, really, but especially for those who have burning questions about how A.I. might be lead well: Educators, artists, parents, business and organizational leaders. Also, eager ChatGPsters, early abandon-ers (like Tom), and cautious culture watchers alike are welcome to keep this conversation vibrant and honest.
