The Morning Glory (Asagao) is one of Japan's most iconic flowers, blooming beautifully on warm summer mornings.
For generations, Japanese children have grown Morning Glories at school as one of their first experiences of caring for nature. Their vibrant blue, purple and pink blossoms have also inspired artists, poets and calligraphers throughout Japanese history.
