Join us for a relaxed and friendly Japanese calligraphy experience at ST BRIDE'S CENTER.
About this Event
This is more than just a calligraphy class. It is a chance to slow down, meet people from your local community, discover Japanese culture, and enjoy a creative activity together.
You don't need any previous experience — complete beginners are very welcome!
✨ What to Expect
During the 90-minute session, you will:
- Learn the basics of Japanese calligraphy
- Discover the meaning and background of Japanese characters
- Practise using a traditional Japanese brush
- Create your own calligraphy artwork
- Learn a few simple Japanese words and expressions
- Chat and connect with other participants
- Enjoy a relaxed and creative community atmosphere
At the end of the session, you can take your own artwork home.

Our aim is to create opportunities for people to discover Japanese culture through calligraphy, creativity and community.
Come along, pick up a brush, and enjoy a relaxed morning of Japanese culture.

- Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the workshop starts.
- Comfortable clothing is recommended as ink may stain.
