The event opens with the whole room together calling out "Itadakimasu!" — the Japanese grace before a meal. In that first second, the room becomes one group. A space full of strangers turns into "tonight's people" — that's my favorite moment of this event.

Kick off JAPAN Fes the Japanese way! Radio Taiso is a fun and easy group exercise enjoyed across Japan for generations. No experience needed—just move, stretch, and have fun together. — It primes your appetite perfectly.
💃 Bon Dance Together🇯🇵
Join the circle and move to the ondo. You don't need to know the steps — watch, copy, and you're in. The moment you step into the circle, you're part of the show. In the evening session, bon odori under lantern light is genuinely beautiful.
🍡 Mochi Maki Together🇯🇵
An interesting festival event. In Japan, mochi is traditionally shared and celebrated during special occasions as a symbol of good luck and happiness. Catch and collect as much mochi as you can, compete with your friends, and take home a little piece of Japanese good fortune!
