About this Event
Learning from Counter-Futures: Practising Afrofuturisms is a screening, listening, readings and discussion event led by The Otolith Group, exploring Afrofuturisms as a form of radical and alternative pedagogy. The session considers how speculative aesthetic practices, artistic experimentation, close reading and critical dialogue can operate as forms of pedagogy. This opens up education as a politically charged practice for learning otherwise.
