The Kiwi-Pinoy Comedy Boy is back, performing in Berlin as part of his Mano Po world tour.East-West Comedy and James Roque present:
Fast rising, globe-trotting Kiwi-Pinoy comedian James Roque @jamesroque is doing his first ever solo show in Berlin!
A ‘mano po’ is a Filipino gesture of respect, given to your elders. And for Filipinos, you already know the fear: one day, it’s coming for you.
In 2025, James received his first serious ‘mano po’ request from a teenager which sent him into a spiral. Is he really old enough for this? What if he hasn't done enough with his life? Is this what a mid-life crisis feels like? Should he get a motorcycle? Damn, life comes at you FAST.
A funny and heartfelt new hour about ageing, unpacking your life and the panic of realising you’ve become the adult - whether you’re ready or not.
