Inspired by a trip to India, the phrase 'monkey business' came to mind. The monkeys at the temples were clearly running a muck and having a good time. At its core, 'Monkey Temple' is a song about community, bringing people together and those good time vibes.
"For me, music has always been about finding my way back to myself," Jake says. "If my songs can help someone remember the part of themselves they thought they'd lost, then I've done what I set out to do."
