The festivities begin Friday, October 23rd at 6:30 PM as we come together to honor Jake and Joslyn's special milestone. It's going to be a weekend to remember, so mark your calendars and come ready to dance, eat, and enjoy the festivities with us. Can't wait to see you there!

Day 1: The Religious Ceremony/Service (Shabbat Evening)

Friday, October 23rd, 2026

Beth Hillel Temple

6050 8th Ave., Kenosha

6:30 PM-8:15 PM

Things to know:

A B'Nai Mitzvah (plural) is a Jewish coming-of-age ceremony. The term means 'Children of the Commandment' and marks the transition where Jake and Joslyn become responsible for observing Jewish commandments and participating fully in the adult religious community.

Attire for the ceremony tends to be more modest in nature and can be more casual than what someone would wear for the big party.

There will be an Oneg (light dinner) immediately following services.

*Families of Jake and Joslyn's friends, please feel free to join us for services and the Oneg immediately following services.*

Please pick up your child no later than 8:30 PM

🎉 Day 2: The Celebration (Saturday Evening)

Saturday, October 24th, 2026

The Vault

625 57th St., Kenosha

6:30 PM-11:00 PM

Jake and Joslyn's B'nai Mitzvah Mashup

We will celebrate BIG with Jake and Joss!

Attire: Cocktail chic/semi formal (there will be a red carpet present)

Food & Drink: Buffet Dinner, Dessert Bar, and Drinks are on the menu. Parking: Street parking may be available. There is also a parking garage across the street from the Vault.

*Gifts are very much appreciated, but never required. Traditional Mitzvah gifts are often multiples of 18 (Chai=Life in Hebrew) for good luck.

**As much as we would love for everyone to be able to join us, due to space constraints, attendance for the Celebration will need to be limited to invited guests only.
