🏆 Jacob Katsnelson is a laureate and finalist of some of the most prestigious competitions in classical music. He was a finalist at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, received Second Prize at the inaugural Sviatoslav Richter International Piano Competition in Moscow, and was also a finalist at the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition in Switzerland. At the International Piano Competition in Tbilisi, he received a special prize for his interpretation of Beethoven.

🎓 A graduate of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he studied with renowned pianist Eliso Virsaladze, Katsnelson has built an international career as a soloist, chamber musician, recording artist, and educator.

🌍 His performances have taken him to major concert halls across Europe, the United States, Israel, and beyond, including the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Tonhalle in Zurich, Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, and the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonia. He has also collaborated with leading musicians such as Mischa Maisky, Martin Fröst, Julian Rachlin, Maxim Rysanov, and Boris Brovtsyn.

The first half of the evening is devoted to the refinement, brilliance, and architectural clarity of the Baroque era, with music by:
