SAVE THE DATE FOR 2027. Experience Jackson presents the return of Jackson County FREE Museum Day!
Jackson County Museums welcome visitors to experience all there is to offer at their locations, featuring free admission on Saturday, May 8, 2027, from 10 am - 4 pm. With Museum Day intentionally planned on Mother’s Day weekend, it is a great opportunity for families to get together and learn more about their community’s history while checking some local museums off their bucket list.
The annual Jackson County FREE Museum Day event is coordinated, marketed and facilitated by Experience Jackson, the official tourism bureau for Jackson County, Michigan, with support provided by the Jackson County MI Historical Society and on-site, day-of volunteers from Jackson District Library.
Participating locations and event details will be made available in early 2027 at https://www.experiencejackson.com/.
