Jackie’s Holiday Hope is a community fundraiser created in support of Jackie and her ongoing fight against cancer.Jackie is currently undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy, and this journey has brought significant changes not only to her everyday life, but to the lives of the family and loved ones standing beside her. Throughout it all, she continues to face each day with strength, courage, and hope.
As treatment continues, Jackie has had to step away from work while focusing on her health and recovery. Like so many families affected by cancer, the journey extends far beyond treatment itself. Medical care, time away from work, transportation, everyday living expenses, and the many unexpected costs that accompany a serious illness can quickly become overwhelming.
That is why our family, friends, and community are coming together for Jackie’s Holiday Hope.
The fundraiser will take place on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 12 PM to 4 PM at The Villa Maria Restaurant, 1610 Washburn St. in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Guests are invited to join us for an afternoon of good food, music, great prizes, and community, including $20 pasta plates available for eat-in or takeout and a basket raffle featuring a variety of prizes.
More importantly, this day is an opportunity to surround Jackie with love and remind her that she does not have to face this fight alone. Every pasta plate purchased, raffle ticket, donation, share, and person who attends helps make a difference and shows just how powerful a community can be when it comes together for one of its own.
The holiday season is a time for family, generosity, gratitude, and hope. Our goal is to bring all of those things together for Jackie while helping ease some of the financial burden associated with her ongoing treatment and allowing her to continue focusing on what matters most — her health and her fight.
Our family is incredibly grateful for every person who has offered support, encouragement, prayers, and kindness throughout this journey. Whether you attend the fundraiser, make a contribution, participate in the raffle, purchase a plate, or simply help spread the word, your support means more to Jackie and our family than we could ever fully express.
