J2:18 Volunteer Orientation & Training 🤍Do you feel called to serve women who are vulnerable to sexual exploitation and trafficking? Maybe you’ve wanted to get involved but weren’t sure where to begin.
This is where you start.
Join us for J2:18 Volunteer Orientation & Training as we share the heart behind J2:18, the communities we serve, and the different ways volunteers can become part of this mission.
During orientation, you’ll learn more about:
• The mission and vision of J2:18
• Human trafficking and sexual exploitation
• Trauma-informed and survivor-centered outreach
• Volunteer expectations, safety, and boundaries
• Our current outreach opportunities, including hotel outreach, jail ministry, Princess Night, Encounter Night, and other community initiatives
• How your individual gifts can be used to serve
You do not have to have previous experience in anti-trafficking work. We are looking for compassionate, dependable people who are willing to learn, serve, pray, and show up consistently.
There is a place for many different gifts within this work. Some volunteers serve directly in outreach, while others help through prayer, preparation, organization, donations, events, creative work, and behind-the-scenes support.
