Join the IWIRC Yorkshire & North East Sub-Committee for an unforgettable evening of networking, history and mystery in the heart of York.
We'll begin the evening at The Royal Oak, York, where you can enjoy dinner before setting off on a guided ghost walk through one of England's most haunted cities.
Hosted by the renowned Original Ghost Walk of York, this one-hour walk will take us through York's atmospheric streets, hidden snickelways and ancient landmarks, uncovering chilling tales, historic events and legendary hauntings that have shaped the city's fascinating past.

Date: Wednesday 21 October 2026
Time: 5pm onwards (we anticipate being finished by 7:30/8pm)
We will be having dinner at the Royal Oak before the walk, menu choices will be circulated prior to the event and pre-orders taken.
Meeting Place: Meet at The Royal Oak, 18 Goodramgate, York.
No dress code but the walk will last approx. 1 hour and will be going ahead regardless of the weather so please bear that in mind.
